The metal badges are products made of zinc alloy as the base material through a series of processes. They usually have specific patterns, texts, etc. as symbols and can be used for decoration, commemoration, collection, etc.
The visual effect and price positioning of the badges will be determined by different processes.
1. Hard Enamel
Products made of this material look very high-end, with rich and saturated colors. The height of the metal lines is basically the same. After coloring, they will be repeatedly polished to make the hard enamel and the metal edges highly consistent. The touch feels smooth and flat.
However, the production cost is high, the process is complex, and the production time is also long.
2. Soft Enamel/Baked Paint
This material is used to make the most common and cost-effective products on the market at present. Generally, after the metal badge is stamped and electroplated, the pigment is filled and baked to solidify. The color is bright but may contain particles. The touch has a distinct layering effect and can feel the lines of the badge. The three-dimensionality is good. The production cost of this product is low, and the process is very mature and stable.
However, this product is not as high-end as the hard enamel, and the surface is more prone to wear and tear. Its wear resistance is not as good as the hard enamel, and it may soften and change color under high temperature.
3.Doming Badge / Epoxy Resin Badge
The products made of this material have a smooth and transparent surface. Usually, the most complex patterns are printed/printed/attached on the bottom layer through UV printing/photocopying/sticker application, and then a layer of transparent epoxy resin is placed on the top layer as a protective layer to seal and protect, which can achieve waterproof and scratch-resistant effects. There will also be a curved transparent effect on the surface of the product, which can perfectly restore the base color pattern of the product, and the product feels relatively lightweight.
However, this product has poor texture and belongs to a low-cost process. The metal texture is relatively low, and it is afraid of high temperatures. Over time, the epoxy resin protective layer may turn yellow.

The available valves include:
1. Pneumatic Jet Spray Valve
2. Piezo Jet Valve
3. Single Screw Valve
4. Double Screw Valve
5. Precision Dispensing Valve
6. Precision Spray Valve
7. Piezoelectric Spray Valve
We have a customer from Mexico who uses metal badges. We recommend that they use the visual dispensing machine with the Precision Spray Valve, so that their metal badge products can achieve a clear and uniform depth, flawless detail filling, and perfect alignment of the grooves and edges.
It offers the flexibility we need for rapid prototyping while maintaining the consistency required for full-scale runs.
Your engineers provided excellent onsite training and remained available for remote support whenever needed.
