What materials are rubber keychains made of?

A. Soft PVC: The most common material, usually based on PVC powder + PVC oil + plasticizer, with different color pastes added to create PVC materials of various colors.

B. Silicone: More commonly used by high-end brands, generally divided into liquid silicone and solid silicone. Liquid silicone has a higher viscosity than PVC and is prone to stringing. Products made from it typically have 2-4 colors.

How to make a keychain step by step?

1. First, we receive the customer's design and prepare the mold according to the design. This can be a copper mold or an aluminum mold; aluminum molds are less expensive. This step is crucial for producing a high-quality product. A well-made mold results in a beautiful-looking product. (If the mold becomes worn or dirty after prolonged use, a Sandblasting Machine can be used to treat the mold surface and restore it to its perfect condition.)

2. The PVC oil, PVC powder, and plasticizer are thoroughly mixed. Color paste is added according to the design requirements to create the desired color for the product.

3. The mixed PVC raw materials are placed into the material hopper of the PVC dispensing machine according to their colors, and the machine fills the molds with the PVC material.

4. The molds containing the PVC material are placed in an oven for heat curing. After the set time, the oven automatically ejects the molds and releases cold water to cool them.

5. Workers then remove the finished soft PVC keychains.
